SM Device Management Functional Area

Description

'SM Device Management' provides the functions necessary to manage devices, including network management, operational status monitoring, and application performance monitoring.

Functional Requirements

01The service monitor system shall be capable of monitoring the operational status of Connected Vehicle Roadside Equipment
02The service monitor system shall be capable of monitoring physical security alarms from Connected Vehicle Roadside Equipment
03The service monitor system shall be capable of determining the configuration of Connected Vehicle Roadside Equipment.
04The service monitor system shall identify Connected Vehicle Roadside Equipment that requires maintenance (initialization, reconfiguration, repair or replacement).
05The service monitor system shall notify other Centers which Connected Vehicle Roadside Equipment needs maintenance.
06The service monitor system shall monitor the configuration and operational status of ITS Objects.
07The service monitor system shall be capable of monitoring the cybersecurity status of Connected Vehicle Roadside Equipment.
08The service monitor system shall monitor the status of transportation centers.
09The service monitor system shall notify transportation centers of any faults detected in the operational status of those transportation centers.
10The service monitor system shall monitor the status of field equipment.
11The service monitor system shall notify transportation centers of any faults detected in the operational status of field equipment.
12The service monitor system shall monitor the status of vehicle equipment.
13The service monitor system shall notify vehicle service centers of any faults detected in the operational status of vehicle equipment.
14The service monitor system shall monitor the status of personal devices.
15The service monitor system shall notify personal device monitoring transportation centers of any faults detected in the operational status of personal devices.
